Job summary

Firehawk Aerospace seeks a Strategic Finance Manager to rigorously build and maintain financial visibility for a rapidly growing defense hardware organization. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while supporting strategic initiatives, including M&A analysis and capital markets support.

The role is hands-on, analytics-driven, and requires ownership in a fast-moving environment. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Addison, TX, with ~10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 5+ years of finance experience in high-growth, technical, or defense/manufacturing environments.
• Experience evaluating investments, M&A, or new products through rigorous analysis.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills with Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, capital structures, and debt instruments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across the company.
• Develop frameworks for resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
• Prepare materials for board meetings and investor communications.
• Evaluate investments, M&A opportunities, and partnerships.
• Design FP&A tools, dashboards, and processes to support growth.
• Analyze scenarios and communicate insights to executives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Legal on financial goals.
• Provide clear narratives from complex financial data for stakeholders.
