Hermann Services, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager to support financial planning, accounting, and month-end close processes.

The role partners with the Controller on audits, tax requirements, and cross-department collaboration to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. The candidate should have 6–8 years of finance experience, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Required).
• 6 to 8 years' experience minimum with increasing responsibilities in Finance
• Proficient in excel, advanced formulas, Power BI
• Proactive, extremely organized, ability to work in fast-paced environment, sense of urgency, Detail oriented, Self-starter, Flexible to shifting priorities, Problem preventer, Problem solver, Meeting all deadlines
• Skills preferred, but not required: Microsoft Great Plains, TMW, Mcleod, TMT
• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes
• Must have proficient knowledge of Customer Management System including advanced skills in Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, Word, (Required), Concur, and Mcleod (Preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Customer Management Systems.
• Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees in the Transportation and Logistics departments.
• Desire to surround customers with excellence in service.
• Willing to work overtime as needed to meet business needs.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and competing work demands.
• Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Able to be flexible and balance competing priorities effectively.
• Able to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in a high-volume work environment.
• Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across all levels and departments.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, analyze P&L and Balance Sheet against prior months and Budget.
• Prepare, sign off and submit all balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries along with proper back up, update monthly checklist.
• Prepare and analyze accruals and prepaid entries.
• Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliation.
