Job summary

Nox Metals, a technology-driven metals company with operations in Detroit and Los Angeles, seeks a Senior Finance Manager to own the monthly close, forecasts, and management reporting. You will drive cash visibility, pricing analysis, and cost governance in a fast-moving, inventory-heavy environment.

You will partner with sales and operations on pricing, capacity, and strategic investments, and lead controls, audits, and finance system improvements while coaching the finance team.

Qualifications

• Strong in accounting fundamentals and operating decisions.
• Ability to build a model and test its assumptions on the factory floor.
• Rigorous about accuracy, controls, and deadlines.
• Clear and concise when explaining financial results to non-finance leaders.
• Comfortable in a growing company where systems are still being built.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Build forecasts and planning processes for revenue, margin, cash, and inventory.
• Explain performance drivers behind variances to leadership.
• Develop controls appropriate for a fast-growing, inventory-heavy company.
• Partner with sales and operations on pricing, capacity, and investment decisions.
• Improve costing, inventory accounting, and gross-margin visibility.
• Manage audit, tax, insurance, banking, and external-accounting workflows.
• Develop finance systems and automate repetitive reporting.
• Support leadership and board materials with decision-ready analysis.
• Coach finance teammates and raise documentation standards.
