Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Finance Manager for its Greater Boston operations. This highly visible role partners with executive and operational leadership to support financial performance, enhance reporting, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and FP&A in an asset-intensive environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, advanced Excel and modeling skills, and can translate data into actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or operational finance.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and modeling.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries such as environmental services, transportation, infrastructure, manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
• Ability to partner effectively with finance and operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and KPIs.
• Develop profitability reporting by business line, customer, and project.
• Monitor cost drivers and provide financial modeling support for initiatives.
• Collaborate with operational leadership to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Support month-end close, billing accuracy, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with audits and lender reporting.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests and long-term asset planning.
