Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Assurance Director/Manager to join our growing Non-Profit practice in Massachusetts. You will lead client engagements, manage teams, and help clients meet audit and financial planning objectives using a range of tools.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis on financial statement audits, and CPA licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred.
• CPA license certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with great clients.
• Assist clients in obtaining funding to positively impact their community.
• Assist clients with meeting audit and financial planning objectives by using a range of tools.
• Be creative with staff development, mentoring, and overseeing engagement teams.
• Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time budgets and deadlines for adherence, and communicate developments to the engagement principal with facts, conclusions, and recommendations.
