Job summary

Cambridge Associates LLC. is seeking a Financial Analyst in FP&A for our Boston-based Shared Services group. The role focuses on monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecasts, and the annual budget, delivering insights to senior management to guide strategic spending decisions.

You will partner with Accounting, Legal, and Human Capital, maintain financial models, analyze cost trends, and drive process improvements with a focus on automation and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A / budgeting / forecasting experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (INDEX MATCH; Pivot Tables).
• Experience with Enterprise Planning tools (Oracle EPM).
• Excellent communication skills; able to express complex thoughts clearly.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Accounting & Finance, Legal, Human Capital and other corporate function leaders to build the annual budget and complete monthly forecasts.
• Maintain and enhance financial models within the enterprise planning tool, ensuring data integrity across cost centers.
• Analyze headcount, vendor spend, and departmental cost trends and deliver monthly variance analysis with commentary.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly P&L reviews, dashboards, and executive-ready summaries for Shared Services leadership.
• Support ad hoc analyses for leadership, including cost-benefit analysis, scenario planning, and resource allocation decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and forecasting processes; champion AI-powered tools adoption.
