Job summary

Steno is seeking a finance-focused professional to join our Remote-first team in the United States. You will own critical FP&A workstreams, build robust financial models from scratch, and partner with Sales, Operations, and Product to translate analysis into strategic decisions that drive growth.

You’ll report to the Director of Strategic Finance and help shape how staffing, pricing, and resources tie to revenue. We value SaaS, legal tech, or marketplace experience and a hands-on, curios mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience starting in investment banking, management consulting, or transaction advisory.
• Experience in an FP&A, Strategy or Operations role at a scaling company.
• Hands-on experience building financial models from scratch.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally to translate analysis into decisions.
• Experience in SaaS, legal tech, or marketplace businesses is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Run cross-functional analyses end-to-end, build models leadership relies on.
• Turn analysis into real-time decisions on staffing, pricing, and resource allocation.
• Own meaningful FP&A cycles, develop the narrative behind the numbers, and grow the scope of the role over time.
