Job summary

ParentSquare is seeking a highly analytical Manager of Strategic Finance to guide strategic direction and business decisions. This role emphasizes cross-functional partnering, corporate development, and structuring complex problems for executive teams.

You will drive strategic initiatives, including M&A evaluation, pricing strategy, and business cases for new products or markets, while building AI-enabled reporting and scalable analytics for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance at SaaS, consulting, investment banking, PE, or corporate development.
• AI-native mindset; proactive use of AI tools for research, modeling, and analysis.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; a modeling test may be part of the process.
• Ability to structure unstructured, open-ended business problems into clear frameworks and recommendations.
• Strong executive communication and storytelling skills for senior leadership or board presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives to drive organic and inorganic growth, including M&A evaluation and diligence support, pricing and packaging strategy, and business cases for new products or markets.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to leaders and the executive team, delivering analysis on unit economics, ROI on initiatives, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations on high-priority initiatives with financial analysis and business-case development from analysis to executive recommendation.
• Build AI-enabled reporting frameworks and dashboards for real-time visibility into progress against strategic growth initiatives.
• Design and deploy AI agents and automated workflows to scale financial analyses, research, and reporting processes.
