Job summary
The Maison Group | Real Estate Executive Search is assisting a premier Washington, DC - based real estate investment firm in seeking a Vice President of Finance & Accounting. This leader will oversee partnership and corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and audit/tax coordination to support growth and value creation.
The role requires CPA and 10+ years in real estate finance, with senior leadership experience and a track record of building robust
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in real estate.
- Deep understanding of partnership accounting, fund structures, investor reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting and financial reporting for real estate partnerships and corporate entities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory/compliance activities.
- Provide analyses to executives and lenders; prepare board materials.
- Drive process improvements and technology initiatives for scalability.
