Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks a Vice President of Finance to partner with divisional leaders, overseeing accounting, reporting, treasury, and strategic planning for real estate development initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in residential development or real estate.
• Experience leading finance functions for a division, region, or business unit.
• Expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership, partnering, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee divisional accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and cash management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with analyses and reports.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to divisional leadership on business planning and capital allocation.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and reforecasts.
• Analyze revenue, margins, cash flow, development projects, and investment opportunities.
• Partner with Operations and Development teams on project performance and budgeting.
• Coordinate with corporate finance on financing activities and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Improve financial systems and reporting capabilities for scalability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the divisional finance and accounting team.
