Shopoff Realty Investments seeks a Vice President of Finance & Portfolio Management to lead strategic financial leadership across a diversified real estate portfolio. The role analyzes asset and fund performance, delivers executive insights, and strengthens portfolio reporting while guiding investment and capital decisions.

This highly visible position develops dashboards, collaborates with senior leadership, and supports investors and joint venture partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of real estate asset management experience including financial accounting, reporting and budgeting.
• 5–10 years of direct supervisory experience with workload management and talent development.
• Advanced financial modeling and underwriting capabilities, including valuation models and multi‑tier waterfalls.
• Ability to read and interpret complex financial reports, JV agreements, private placements, appraisals, and third‑party reports.
• Strong project management, timely delivery, and executive‑level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance analysis and reporting for a diverse real estate portfolio.
• Evaluate fund- and asset-level financial performance, cash flow projections, and capital needs.
• Develop executive dashboards translating complex finance data into actionable insights.
• Partner with senior management to support investment sourcing and cost optimization.
• Provide transparent updates on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives for investors.
• Manage asset and fund valuation processes along with annual audits.
• Support monthly/quarterly reporting, including variance analysis and cash forecasting.
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Collaborate across Accounting, Real Estate, Investor Relations, and other functions for cohesive portfolio strategy.
• Support due diligence, financing, and refinancing activities across the portfolio.
• Establish and implement best practices to improve reporting quality and cross-functional workflows.
• Lead ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects as needs evolve.
