Job summary

Brookfield Residential US Holdings LLC seeks a Director of Finance (Land & Development) to lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluations for land development and homebuilding operations. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize profitability and deliver actionable insights that drive performance.

The role emphasizes building robust financial models, governance, and leadership of the finance team in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership capabilities, strategic thinking and business acumen required.
• Experience in land development, homebuilding and real estate finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning, Forecasting & Business Performance: Lead annual planning, budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning. Oversee performance analysis and develop forecasts including revenue, gross margin, NOI and cash flow.
• Strategic Finance & Operational Partnership: Partner with Land, Development and Homebuilding leaders to drive profitability and evaluate costs, pricing and investments.
• Financial Modeling, Analysis & Investment Evaluation: Oversee land development pro formas, evaluate IRR, ROI and sensitivity analyses for feasibility and returns.
• Financial Reporting, Systems & Process Improvement: Improve reporting, dashboards and processes for visibility and decision-making across divisions.
• Leadership & Professional Development: Mentor finance team, foster accountability and drive continuous improvement.
