Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) seeks a Sr. Director of Finance for Global Pharmacy Automation in Durham, NC. You will partner with the BU President, drive long-range plans, budgeting, and forecasting, and lead finance teams to optimize profitability.

You will develop and enhance financial models, support product development strategies, and ensure strong internal controls and reporting across the division.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Controller, or related roles.
• Demonstrated ability to form, lead and develop a Finance team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, finance principles and internal controls.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to present complex matters clearly.
• Excellent financial modeling and project management skills.
• Continuous Improvement mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Located in Durham, NC or within driving distance to enable 4 days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Advise BU President and leadership team; serve as finance business partner.
• Lead 3-year strategic plan (ASR), budget, and quarterly forecast.
• Develop and enhance underlying financial models.
• Support Global Pharmacy Automation strategies and objectives.
• Align priorities with short- and long-term business goals.
• Provide proactive financial input on performance and operational factors.
• Deliver insights to improve financial outcomes and decisions.
• Support new business development including acquisitions and licenses.
• Collaborate with President to establish KPIs and publish regular reporting.
• Present and interpret financial data for Pharmacy Automation leadership.
• Participate in S&OP to align demand, supply, and financial projections.
• Guide Finance and Accounting teams; champion process improvements.
