Job summary

BD MMS in Durham, NC seeks a Sr. Director of Finance for Global Pharmacy Automation. You will partner with the BU President and lead all finance activities for a $0.6B business, guiding planning, reporting and strategic initiatives.

The role requires 15+ years of financial leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. Travel up to 25%. Located in Durham or within driving distance to work four days in the office.

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressive experience in FP&A, Analytics, Controller, or related roles.
• Demonstrated ability to form, lead and develop a Finance team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, finance principles and internal controls.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to present material concisely.
• Excellent financial modelling and project management skills.
• Continuous Improvement mindset and Leadership Courage.
• Collaborate across functions to meet timelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and be in the office in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities

• Key advisor and business partner to BU President and leadership team.
• Lead development of the 3-year strategic plan (ASR), annual budget, quarterly forecast.
• Develop and enhance underlying financial models.
• Contribute to Global Pharmacy Automation strategies and objectives.
• Align priorities with short- and long-term business goals.
• Provide financial insights on performance and operational factors.
• Support new business development including acquisitions and licenses.
• Collaborate with the President to establish key KPIs and publish regular reports.
• Present and interpret financial data for Pharmacy Automation LT.
• Participate in S&OP to align demand, supply and projections.
• Lead Finance and Accounting teams and drive process improvements.
