Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Administration to oversee our financial operations and partner with ownership and executive leadership. This high-visibility role drives strategic decision-making across finance, operations, HR, and administration in a growing manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and ERP-related initiatives while mentoring accounting staff and serving on the executive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive finance leadership experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience overseeing accounting in inventory-based environments.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and business analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development.
• Cost accounting experience preferred.
• Job costing experience is a plus.
• ERP experience required.
• Experience partnering with operations and executive leadership.
• Exposure to HR administration, insurance, or corporate administration preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of all accounting operations and financial reporting
• Review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Analyze financial performance and communicate meaningful business insights to ownership
• Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
• Monitor production costs, inventory levels, purchasing trends, and profitability
• Partner with operations leadership to improve efficiency and financial performance
• Support capital investment planning and ROI analysis
• Oversee cash flow management and financial controls
• Collaborate with HR leadership regarding benefits, performance management, insurance, and employee relations
• Partner with outside legal counsel on employment-related matters and risk management initiatives
• Participate in ERP enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Develop and improve financial processes and internal controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while providing strategic oversight rather than day-to-day transaction processing
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team
