Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Principal Finance Manager to serve as a strategic finance leader within Amazon Pharmacy Finance, reporting directly to the Pharmacy Finance Director. This high-impact role shapes long-range trajectory, provides executive-level analyses, and scales via AI fluency across generative AI, agentic workflows, and automation.

You will act as a strategic advisor to the Pharmacy Finance Leadership Team, drive capital planning, and partner across Pharmacy, AHS, and Operations

Qualifications

10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience.
3+ years of healthcare experience, including Pharmacy industry, payers, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), pharmacy operations, or healthcare reimbursement models.

Responsibilities

Strategic advisor to Pharmacy Finance Leadership Team shaping growth trajectory.
Drive long-range planning and growth analyses with quantified options for senior leaders.
Translate financial stories into executive-ready insights for leadership.
Partner with Pharmacy, AHS, Operations to align on strategic priorities and scalable leadership mechanisms.
Promote strong financial controllership and governance as the business scales.
Apply AI fluency to modernize Pharmacy Finance with AI, automation, and analytics.
Develop and mentor the Pharmacy Finance organization to scale.
