Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior finance leader in Tucson to drive Direct Investment financial management for the Tomahawk acceleration portfolio. You will create and refine models, manage risk, and provide strategic guidance across program, engineering, and supply chain teams.

The role requires 10+ years in finance, strong leadership, and advanced Excel/FP&A skills, with a focus on governance, forecasting, and high‑visibility reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 10+ years in Finance or Business.
• Formal leadership experience including mentoring analysts.
• Strong background supporting Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, PM.
• Proficiency with financial tools such as APEX, PRISM, RPLAN.
• Advanced skill in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial oversight and governance for Direct Investment projects across the Tomahawk portfolio.
• Create and refine financial models, including new government CDRLs.
• Own term liability analysis, funding risk assessments, and long-term reviews.
• Provide mentorship to analysts supporting Tomahawk capacity projects.
• Oversee forecast and monthly close activities for senior leadership.
• Direct Quarterly EAC development with cross-functional input.
• Produce executive variance analyses with risks and mitigation actions.
• Guide proposals, EAC inputs, and CDRL financial materials for accuracy.
• Evaluate financial impacts of modernization, rate changes, obsolescence, capacity.
• Provide FP&A support including long-range planning and investment outlooks.
• Lead process improvements, data governance, and efficiency efforts.
