Job summary

Laminar is seeking a senior finance/strategy leader to own the operating model, shape capital allocation, and drive fundraising with the founders. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, while evaluating investments and new markets to scale the business.

You will partner with the founders to translate financial insight into strategic decisions, balancing growth with operational discipline in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic finance, investment banking, investing, or startup operations.
• You can build a rigorous model, explain what it means, and use it to make decisions.
• You want responsibility for what happens after the analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build the financial model linking sales, deployment capacity, engineering investment, and cash requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and management reporting.
• Understand account and deployment economics, and evaluate investments in new markets and capabilities.
• Drive fundraising preparation and execution alongside the founders, including the narrative, data room, and diligence.
• Take selected strategic initiatives from business case through launch.
