Job summary

Laminar is building intelligent industrial automation to make matter understandable and controllable. We seek a leader to identify opportunities, test their economics, and lead them from concept through launch with founders.

You'll prioritize ventures across industries and geographies, build business cases, recruit initial teams, and contribute to planning and fundraising, driving impact across the company.

Qualifications

• A track record of launching a business, function, product, or program.
• Build a portfolio of launches or grow into a GM mandate for a business you establish.
• You combine commercial judgment with financial fluency and can recruit and lead people across disciplines.
• Direct impact on product and culture.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize new ventures across industry verticals, geographies, partnerships, and customer offerings
• Build business cases, define milestones, and recommend capital and headcount commitments
• Launch initiatives such as an expert‑advisory offering for major manufacturing customers
• Recruit initial teams and work with engineering and commercial leaders to deliver results
• Contribute to company planning and fundraising through financial analysis and evidence from new initiatives
• Scale, revise, or stop initiatives based on results, then lead them permanently or transfer ownership
