Job summary

Lightfield is seeking a Strategic Finance & Operations professional to build the financial and operating infrastructure for the company’s next growth stage. You’ll collaborate with the CEO and leadership to develop metrics, models, analyses, and processes that illuminate performance and guide decision-making.

The role emphasizes building dashboards, forecasting models, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth investing, strategic finance, or another highly analytical environment.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills and can build analyses from scratch.
• Able to handle ambiguity, structure problems, and work with imperfect data.
• Strong business judgment and ability to translate analyses into actionable takeaways.
• Excited to work in a fast-moving startup; prior startup experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build operating metrics and reporting across revenue, growth, customers, spend, and efficiency.
• Support forecasting and planning: build and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and headcount plans.
• Run strategic analyses and turn insights into decisions.
• Improve spend visibility with reporting and trend analysis.
• Build operating infrastructure and establish reporting cadences for rigorous growth.
• Work cross-functionally with teams to gather data and execute projects.
• Support high-priority projects with the Head of Operations.
