Gridware in San Francisco seeks a strategic finance professional to own long-range planning, forecasting, and capital allocation. You will partner with the CFO and cross-functional leaders to build financial infrastructure from the ground up in a fast-growing startup.

You will translate complex analytics into actionable insights for executives and the board, supporting fundraising and scenario modeling in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or strategic finance/FP&A
• Advanced Excel/financial modeling skills; comfort building models from scratch
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication for executives and the board
• A bias toward action; comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the long-range financial plan across revenue, opex, and investments
• Partner with the CFO on fundraising prep, investor materials, and diligence support
• Analyze unit economics to inform GTM and investment decisions
• Support strategic projects like new market entry and headcount planning
• Help build scalable finance processes and systems as the company grows
• Translate complex financial analysis into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
