Job summary

Plaid is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to own core components of our revenue forecast and understand the drivers behind the numbers. You will work day-to-day with our GTM organization, translating analysis into actionable insights.

You are highly analytical, capable of building bottom-up models from raw data, and proficient with BI tools to sanity-check the picture. This is a fast-growth tech environment with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in investment banking, PE, consulting, or FP&A/strategic finance, ideally at a high-growth technology company.
• Strong data fluency and ability to build/validate financial models and workflows using data.
• Strong financial modeling, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to distill ambiguous problems into structured frameworks and actionable insights, with good judgment on when to escalate.

Responsibilities

• Own core pieces of Plaid's top-line revenue forecast, building and refining models to produce forward-looking numbers.
• Explain drivers of the forecast using internal data and external market factors, and push for automation and scalability.
• Partner with the GTM organization to turn analytics into actionable insights for planning and decisions.
• Own recurring KPI and variance reporting cadences for stakeholders, surfacing risks and opportunities early.
• Help recruit and grow a strong Strategic Finance team at Plaid.
