Job summary

Plaid is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to drive P&L forecasting, design analytical frameworks, and provide leadership with insights on performance. You will navigate between details and the big picture, partnering with executives to shape growth and capital allocation.

This role requires strong financial modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable guidance for the senior leadership team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in finance-related roles.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and distill complex issues into structured frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining Plaid’s financial models and developing analytical models to guide growth.
• Developing and maintaining department budgets with business partners to drive capital allocation and profitability.
• Evaluating growth opportunities by assessing TAM, revenue, unit economics and costs.
• Collaborating with business leaders to provide analytical support for decision making.
• Building dashboards of financial KPIs for the Executive team.
• Leading strategic finance projects with stakeholders to improve financial health.
• Benchmarking metrics against peers.
• Assisting in recruiting a world-class Strategic Finance team.
