Job summary

RSM in Boston seeks a Supervisor, Strategic Finance to execute and review financial analyses across strategic finance, FP&A, and transaction-related engagements. You will apply advanced modeling, oversee day-to-day workstreams, and support delivery of client-ready insights.

You will work with engagement leaders to coordinate teams, prepare analyses and presentations, and mentor junior staff. Travel up to 25% and a hybrid, office-based workstyle are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience.
• Advanced experience with integrated financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Strong valuation skills including income and market approaches.
• Experience supporting client-facing engagements or internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Executes and reviews complex financial analyses and models in support of strategic finance, FP&A, and transaction-related engagements.
• Develops and reviews operating, cash flow, valuation, and transaction models for client planning and deal decisions.
• Analyzes historical financial data to assess performance, growth opportunities, and risks.
• Supports M&A and capital structure initiatives through financial analysis and due diligence.
• Interprets financial and market data to support client-aligned insights and recommendations.
• Prepares and reviews client-ready analyses, schedules, and presentation materials for management and executives.
• Coordinates engagement workstreams, supports team execution, and mentors junior staff.
• Utilizes analytical tools to deliver accurate financial insights.
• Monitors progress to ensure high-quality client service delivery.
