Samuel Pressure Vessel Group seeks a Director of Finance to lead the SESG finance function across multiple sites, shaping strategy and driving financial performance in a complex manufacturing environment in the United States.

This senior role partners with SESG leadership to set priorities, governance, and execution cadence to improve returns, cash flow, and operating performance. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in manufacturing finance and strong ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional designation preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Strong manufacturing finance experience including costing, inventory, margins, and operational performance.
• Experience leading finance within a multi-site or complex business environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, modeling, reporting, controls, and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems (IFS, MS Dynamics 365, FCCS an asset).
• Ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex financial data into actionable decisions.
• Proven ability to lead change and standardize processes across an organization.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SESG finance function across all sites, establishing priorities, governance, and cadence.
• Partner with the President and SESG leadership on key strategic decisions.
• Own the Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Translate results into actionable insights to improve revenue, margins, and cost performance.
• Lead analyses for customers, products, projects, sites, and pricing.
• Drive working capital management and cash flow optimization.
• Standardize processes, controls, and KPIs across SESG; build scalable capabilities.
• Oversee accounting, close, costing, inventory accounting, and compliance.
