Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership across the organization, partnering with the CFO and executives to drive performance and support growth.

The role oversees budgeting, FP&A, and capital planning, with emphasis on M&A, real estate finance, and treasury operations. You will lead consolidation, reporting, and KPI development to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience leading M&A due diligence and integration efforts.
• Experience with FP&A, budgeting, and cash flow modeling for a mid-size organization ($100M–$500M in annual sales).

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Develop financial models to evaluate valuations, deal structures, and ROI.
• Coordinate with legal and internal stakeholders during transactions.
• Prepare executive memos, deal summaries, and board materials.
• Support post-close integration, systems consolidation, and reporting alignment.
• Own annual budgeting process and multi-year financial plans.
• Develop rolling forecasts and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
• Provide analytical support for capital investments and pricing decisions.
• Design KPI dashboards aligning with operations and strategy.
• Conduct variance analyses and present actionable recommendations.
• Build dynamic cash flow models and monitor liquidity needs.
• Manage captive insurance reporting and regulatory filings.
• Oversee real estate lease management and ASC 842 accounting.
• Develop CapEx budgets and ROI/NPV analyses for investments.
• Draft financial memos and executive communications.
