Job summary

Bluejack National seeks a Director of Finance to serve as the senior financial leader for its Home Builders Division, overseeing two residential construction locations from development through completion. You will partner with the Construction Manager and Director of Purchasing to enforce strong controls, accurate job costing, disciplined payables, and timely reporting.

You will deliver insightful analysis, forecasts, and strategic guidance to leadership, ensuring profitability and cash flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in construction/homebuilding/real estate development or related industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience leading FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP, construction accounting, purchasing, and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial management and reporting for two homebuilding locations, ensuring close processes and accurate financial statements.
• Develop and present monthly/quarterly FP&A reporting, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Oversee job costing and construction cost controls; monitor budgets, change orders, and cost-to-complete.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning; align purchasing with cash resources.
• Collaborate with Construction Manager, Purchasing, and CFO to drive financial performance and internal controls.
• Provide leadership development and establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
