Job summary

Bluejack Management Partners, headquartered in the premier Old Parkland campus, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial operations for the Home Builders Division across two residential locations. You will oversee monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting to CFO.

The role partners with Construction and Purchasing leadership to manage job costing, cash flow, and strategic FP&A, developing forecasts, budgets, and accurate analyses to drive profitable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business required; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in construction, homebuilding, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, and project profitability.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting professionals.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP, construction accounting, purchasing, and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial management and reporting for two homebuilding locations.
• Oversee monthly close processes and reconciliations; provide MD&A explanations.
• Develop monthly/quarterly forecasts, budgets, and FP&A reporting.
• Monitor job costing, budgets, change orders, and draws; ensure cost accuracy.
• Own cash flow projections and liaise with CFO and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Construction Manager and Purchasing leadership on controls.
• Support external audits and maintain internal controls.
