Job summary

MRA - The Management Association is seeking a Finance Director to serve as the senior financial leader and strategic partner to the CEO. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning while overseeing the accounting function and building strong internal controls.

Reporting to the CEO, you will translate financial data into actionable insights, evaluate risks, and help drive profitability and cash flow optimization across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field is required.
• Professional finance qualification such as CPA or MBA is preferred but not required.
• Extensive experience in finance leadership, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the CEO’s primary financial advisor, providing clear analysis and guidance for strategic decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and financial performance management.
• Provide forward-looking financial insights, identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee the Controller and accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting and internal controls.
• Review monthly results, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; address variances and trends.
• Lead cash flow forecasting, working capital management, capital planning, and banking relations.
• Develop financial models and analyses to evaluate business options and ROI.
