Job summary

Biograph Wealth Advisors seeks a dynamic Director of Finance to shape financial strategy, oversee budgeting, FP&A, and reporting. The role partners with leadership on capital allocation and growth initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Based in New York City, this hybrid position collaborates with executives, manages fundraising and investor relations, and leads efforts to scale financial systems while driving profitability.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in a senior finance role.
• FP&A, financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and cost negotiations.
• Fundraising, capital management, and investor relations, with early-stage fundraising experience.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience in healthcare, technology or related industries is a plus.
• Subscription or membership-based business models are advantageous.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Previous experience as a financial analyst is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance department, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy, capital allocation, and business growth.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage financial risks.
• Lead fundraising efforts and manage investor relations.
• Implement financial systems and processes to support scale.
• Create rigor and control in finance/accounting processes, ensure readiness for annual financial audits.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators and drive profitability.
• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic goals.
• Work closely with the accounting team to manage monthly performance reviews and the financial close process.
