Job summary

Core-Mark International seeks a Senior Financial Analyst/Controller to be a primary business partner to the OpCo Presidents, setting financial goals and strategies across the organization. You will oversee financial planning and management, provide insights, drive the division’s business plan, and safeguard assets with strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance is required.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis and forecasting.
• Strong analytical mind with strategic ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual strategic and financial business plans for divisions with management.
• Review customer proformas to support pricing and profitability analysis.
• Ensure expense leverage and cost-saving recommendations across divisions.
• Submit timely forecasts and trend analyses with corporate templates.
• Communicate material forecast/budget changes promptly.
• Review financial results and recommend corrective actions for variances.
• Prepare, review, and approve month-end variance reporting and closing processes.
• Monitor inventory controls to protect asset value and minimize shrink.
• Support external/internal audits and provide ad hoc analyses.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
