Job summary

Integral Federal, headquartered in McLean, VA, seeks a Director of Finance to lead the finance function, drive planning, pricing, and contract compliance in a fast-paced government contracting environment. This senior role reports to executive leadership and the Board, guiding financial strategy and reporting.

Based in Tysons Corner, US-Virginia, the role requires 2-3 days in the office weekly and hands-on leadership across FP&A, indirect rates, and GAAP reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years in government contracting finance with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Expert knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA audit requirements.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to executives and a Board.
• GSA Schedule experience including TDR, SRP, and IFF reporting.
• GAAP knowledge including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling.
• Strong leadership and communication to executives and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s finance function and drive sound financial decisions.
• Own budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning; analyze variances for executives and the Board.
• Develop, monitor, and forecast indirect rates; manage rate targets and proposals.
• Own pricing models and labor rate buildups for proposals and contracts.
• Oversee cost escalation analyses and economic price adjustments.
• Oversee contract burn rates, EAC, funding status, and program cost performance.
• Manage month-end close, revenue recognition, and reporting to GAAP and Costpoint.
• Serve as primary liaison for audits (DCAA, DCMA, GSA) and regulatory matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team; implement controls and policies.
• Advance Costpoint, Excel, and Power BI usage including AI tooling for automation.
