Job summary

Catallia Mexican Foods seeks a Director of Finance to lead strategic financial planning and provide hands‑on leadership of the finance and accounting functions. You will partner with executive leadership on pricing, capital allocation, and forecasting, while steering cost accounting and product profitability in a growth‑oriented manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong FP&A, GAAP mastery, and the ability to operate in a lean, mid‑size company.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership across FP&A and controllership with direct responsibility for books and forward‑looking decision support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EVP and Board on pricing, financing, capital allocation, and overall business performance.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities; translate insights into forecasts and plans.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts using performance data, operating assumptions, and market trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement on pricing strategy, profitability, margin improvement, and investments.
• Lead the annual budget process, rolling forecasts, and long‑range planning.
• Create performance dashboards and key financial indicators to monitor trends and risks.
• Translate data into practical recommendations for senior leadership.
• Model financial impact of new products, customers, and capital investments.
• Manage cash forecasting, banking relationships, debt covenant reporting, and tax filings.
• Coordinate annual audit and act as primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
• Improve finance systems, reporting tools, and data governance.
• Lead and develop the finance team, balancing strategic and hands‑on work.
• Provide direction to finance and accounting, with clear priorities and deadlines.
