Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years progressive accounting/finance, with at least five years in leadership.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the organization's overall financial strategy, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide timely financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead the annual operating budget, capital budget, and long-range planning.
• Analyze performance, identify variances, and partner with departments to improve results.
• Oversee accounting operations: GL, AP, payroll, revenue accounting, cash management, and procurement.
• Ensure timely monthly/quarterly/annual closes and reporting.
• Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Manage capital expenditures and compliance with budgets.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Champion integrity, ethics, and accountability across the organization.
• Oversee finance systems and reporting tools; drive process improvements.
