Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Director of Finance for Harrah's Gulf Coast in Biloxi, MS. The role leads financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and controls, partnering with executives to ensure rigorous financial performance and compliance.

The Director of Finance will manage accounting operations, drive accurate reporting, and oversee audits and regulatory filings while guiding a team to deliver strategic financial insights and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree preferred.
• Eight years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least five years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to diverse audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and oversees the organization’s overall financial strategy, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Provides timely, accurate financial analysis and reporting to executive leadership.
• Leads annual operating and capital budgets and long-range planning.
• Oversees accounting operations, including G/L, A/P, payroll, revenue accounting, and procurement.
• Ensures timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting.
• Maintains internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Leads audits and coordinates with external auditors and regulators.
• Collaborates with operational leaders to optimize financial performance.
