Job summary

SBM Offshore in Sacramento is seeking a Senior Finance Director to lead finance activities for assigned portfolios and territories. This on-site role requires up to 30% travel to client sites and company facilities.

The Sr Dir, Finance will manage budgeting, performance monitoring, and strategic initiatives while participating in client meetings and designing solutions for SBM and its clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• MBA highly preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting and pricing activities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of internal financial policies and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Ensure financial cost models meet GAAP reporting requirements for units, clients and reports.
• Provide recommendations on expenditures and revenue to align with corporate strategies.
• Support operations in budgeting processes and review proposals with justification.
• Provide visibility to financial performance via weekly reports and updates.
• Lead risk assessment with corporate partners on payroll taxes, salary structures and contracts.
• Support Business Development in pricing activities to protect financial integrity.
• Identify key cost drivers to improve pricing and competitive advantage.
• Collect and analyze market data to reduce total cost of ownership.
