Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Seven years of hands-on accounting and managerial experience.
• Computer skills necessary to maintain accounting records and generate accounting reports.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with staff and stakeholders.
• Analytical ability and mathematical aptitude to perform accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manages the activities of the Finance Department for accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversees general ledger, transaction fidelity, and routine/monthly/quarterly/annual reconciliations.
• Ensures accurate accounts receivable management, billing, and grant funding processes.
• Ensures corporate tax compliance and timely tax returns.
• Oversees budgeting with grant allocations and budget development.
• Manages audits and fiscal monitoring, including grant audits.
• Manages corporate risk and insurance coverage.
• Maintains financial records and conducts staff trainings.
• Participates in special reports and projects; ensures compliance with regulations.
