Franklin Electric seeks a Business Group Controller for US/Canada Operations to lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis across cost accounting and FP&A. You will partner with operations leaders to drive performance, integrate acquisitions, and ensure GAAP compliance while developing a high-performing finance team.

The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and close processes, with a strong emphasis on controls, policy clarity, and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 7–10 years in finance or accounting; 3–5 years in people leadership.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; IFRS exposure desirable.
• Manufacturing or operations finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, consolidation, and presentation of the US/Canada annual operating budget and forecasts.
• Ensure timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, analytics, and decision support.
• Collaborate with operations leaders to support performance and cost management.
• Oversee audits and internal controls; maintain documented accounting policies.
