Job summary

Priority Tax Relief is seeking a strategic Controller to lead the Corporate Finance department and scale accounting operations across multiple locations. The role focuses on building robust forecasting, internal controls, and GAAP-compliant financial management to support rapid growth and multi-site compliance.

You will translate financial data into insights for executive leadership, manage a cross-location accounting team, and partner with operations to optimize costs and risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with 5+ years in a Controller or Controller role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise in GAAP, financial modeling, cost tracking, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Own financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheets) and oversee expense management across locations.
• Build and mentor accounting teams across multiple sites; modernize workflows and reporting cadence.
• Serve as internal expert for QuickBooks and financial tools; manage payroll and commission tooling.
