Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in business/financial services.
• Experience must include reconciliation of general ledger accounts and proficiency in spreadsheet preparation.
• Experience in higher education/non-profit accounting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial control activities, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Supervise finance staff and provide guidance, evaluations, and coverage during absences.
• Coordinate year-end closings, audits, and reporting to external agencies.
• Manage cash flow, debt, fixed assets, and construction project accounting.
