Job summary

SBR TECH is a Michigan-based designer and manufacturer of advanced electronic systems and power solutions. The Controller will lead accounting and financial operations during a growth phase, reporting to the CEO and driving accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable processes.

The role oversees close, budgeting, cash flow, cost accounting, audit and compliance, and the development of robust financial systems to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA/ACCA preferred.
• 10–15+ years in accounting/finance leadership; at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
• Hands-on experience implementing financial strategies, processes, reporting, internal controls.
• Expert knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving ability and leadership in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee close, budgeting and forecasting, cash and working capital management.
• Lead cost accounting, audit, compliance and internal controls.
• Develop scalable financial systems and processes to support growth.
• Provide management with timely, actionable financial information for decisions.
• Partner with CEO and leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
