Job summary

EmployBridge seeks a commercially minded Finance Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics. This highly visible role partners with sales and leadership to drive revenue growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making.

You will oversee month-end close, financial controls, and external audits while mentoring the accounting team. The right candidate will apply deep accounting expertise with a commercial mindset to evaluate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience as Controller or senior finance leader in multi-entity/multi-location environments.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support executive decisions.
• Monitor revenue, margins, profitability and operational performance.
• Develop KPI reporting and dashboards; partner with sales and leadership teams to drive growth.
• Coordinate audits, tax preparation, and relationships with external partners.
• Recruit, mentor and develop accounting/finance staff.
