Job summary

MSIG USA seeks a Controller to lead the Tax and Corporate Accounting functions, directing federal and state tax accruals and regulatory reporting. You will oversee statutory and GAAP financial statements, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure compliance across financial controls.

You will partner with senior leadership to drive strategy, manage teams, and implement process improvements in a global insurer environment. A CPA/CPCU and extensive insurance experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• CPA and/or CPCU certification preferred.
• Experience in Statutory and GAAP reporting in a property and casualty insurance environment is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tax and Corporate Accounting functions for MSIG USA.
• Direct federal and state tax accruals and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee statutory financial statements and GAAP reporting, including NAIC interactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors, actuaries, and tax authorities.
