Job summary

US Health Partners, LLC is seeking a Controller/Assistant Controller to build the finance function and bring close, reporting and accounting in-house. You will partner with Product and Engineering to shape pricing and business models and own US GAAP reporting.

You will lead month-end close, manage cash, oversee AP/AR, coordinate audits and develop actionable financial insights for leadership. This is a hands-on, mission-driven role in a fast-growing tech company.

Qualifications

• Active CPA credential.
• 6+ years of accounting and finance experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller in technology.
• Hands-on ownership of close, US GAAP reporting, reconciliations and audit prep.
• Strong accounting judgment and ability to explain financial implications to non-finance.
• Strong modeling and spreadsheet skills for practical business decisions.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Stripe, Ramp or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close with repeatable processes.
• Lead transition of accounting to internal finance team.
• Prepare US GAAP financial statements and document significant judgments.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments and billing.
• Manage cash forecasting, working capital and obligations.
• Coordinate tax preparation and external advisers.
• Build controls around spending, approvals and access to systems.
• Own audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop reporting on revenue, expenses and variances.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering on pricing and product economics.
• Improve systems linking ledger, billing and spend management.
• Support budgets, forecasts and financial models.
