You will manage client billing setup, revenue recognition, monthly close, and financial reporting while building scalable financial systems and strong internal controls.

This role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Customer Success, and a proactive approach to optimize processes, drive accuracy, and support

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership roles.
• Strong GAAP, ASC 606, and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
• Proven ability to scale accounting operations in a fast-growth company.
• Familiarity with ERP and billing platforms.
• CPA preferred but not required; startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting lifecycle from billing setup to monthly close.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements on time.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Customer Success on contracts and billing.
• Improve invoicing, collections, revenue tracking, and cost allocations.
• Maintain GL accounts and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage journal entries and month-end close processes.
• Support audits, compliance, and tax filings.
• Evaluate and optimize accounting systems and tools.
• Serve as strategic advisor on financial operations and planning.
