Job summary

Nuove H2O is seeking a Controller to oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance for operations across Italy and Spain. Matrix reporting to the Global CEO/CFO, you will partner with regional business leaders to drive profitability and growth.

The role requires strong experience in multinational finance, ERP systems, and advanced financial modeling. English fluency is essential with Spanish/Italian a plus; travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance, ideally in industrial equipment, water technologies, infrastructure, or chemical manufacturing sectors.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax frameworks, and regulatory environments.
• Experience in multinational or matrix organizations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of Spanish or Italian is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation processes with accuracy and compliance.
• Consolidate regional P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow; prepare variance analyses and insights.
• Maintain internal controls aligned with global finance framework.
• Manage statutory reporting and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
• Lead KPI and dashboard development and reporting; oversee cash and working capital reporting.
