Job summary

TRAC Recruiting seeks a Controller for a full-time, direct-hire role north of Cincinnati, OH. You will architect the future finance organization, transforming from cash to accrual accounting, and lead the NetSuite ERP implementation.

You will partner with executive leadership to drive financial strategy and operational performance. The role oversees manufacturing accounting, standard costing, and internal controls while building scalable processes and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering industries
• Experience leading accounting transformation initiatives
• Experience developing accounting policies and internal controls
• ERP implementation or major systems conversion experience (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost/inventory accounting, revenue recognition

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations and GAAP-compliant reporting
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Provide financial analysis and insights to executive leadership
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and controls
• Oversee conversion from cash-basis to accrual accounting
• Design scalable accounting processes and formal policies
• Lead ERP migration from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite
• Develop cash flow forecasts and improve working capital
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Partner with executives to align financial strategy with business goals
