Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Controller to lead the financial management function for a growing construction firm. You will oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting while guiding internal controls and risk management.

The role partners with the CEO/COO and senior leadership to drive profitability and compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in senior finance roles in construction, strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and excellent leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in senior finance roles within construction or similar industry.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience in financial reporting.
• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven leadership, analytical thinking and risk management ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting practices, budgeting, reporting, tax and audits.
• Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts with executive team.
• Supervise cash management and investment activities.
• Implement internal controls and coordinate with external auditors.
• Mentor accounting team and drive continuous improvement.
