Jobot in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations within the construction industry. The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls while ensuring accurate records and GAAP compliance.

The successful candidate will lead the accounting team, partner with executives and project teams, and drive improvements in margins and project profitability.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in controller/leadership roles.
• Construction industry experience with job costing, WIP, and subcontractor management.
• Experience closing books, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading an accounting team.
• Proficiency in construction ERP software and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee month-end and year-end close and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Monitor job costing, budgets, labor, materials, subcontractors and project profitability.
• Manage WIP schedules, revenue recognition, and related analyses.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, AR/AP, billing and collections.
• Develop budgets and forecasts with project teams and leadership.
• Ensure internal controls and tax compliance across operations.
• Lead and develop accounting team and improve processes.
