Job summary

AGS seeks a Controller to oversee the delivery of Accounting, AP, and Treasury services for client portfolios. The role functions as the day-to-day financial operations lead, providing expert guidance on reporting, budgeting, internal controls, audits, and onboarding initiatives.

You will coordinate monthly and ad-hoc deliverables, monitor team KPIs, approve financial reporting, and communicate updates across portfolios.

Qualifications

Possess a BS or MS in Accounting.
Background in finance/accounting with healthcare knowledge.
Understand accounting processes and information flow between systems.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Ability to manage a team and promote productivity.

Responsibilities

Develop and monitor project plans for the completion of all monthly and ad-hoc deliverables.
Monitor and report on team KPI’s.
Approve financial reporting issuances.
Oversee and coordinate all internal and external communication related to assigned portfolios; collaborate cross functionally and articulate all financial updates.
Provide proactive transparency to the client on financial activities, such as cash projections, with reporting and analytics.
Present an understanding of accounting principles, cash management, and AP operations; analyze forecasts and report on goals.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting, budget-to-actual trends, and variance reports for client review.
Conduct weekly meetings with senior team members to ensure goals are met and issues resolved.
Interview and recruit department candidates.
